We are fascinated by what a book can be and what it can do. Kotext and Livres de Débris are attempts to challenge the normative form of the book and to reinvigorate its style of engagement.
Kotext collects samples of women’s incendiary writing stamped on menstrual pads. The printed-on pads are contained in a vintage Kotex box.
Livres de Débris are curated using trash dumpsters at book fairs we attend. Our time is marked by climatological and political-economic crises. Livres de Débris reflect that crisis.
